Welcome to Kinsbourne Cars we are a small family business and have been in the motor Industry for 52 years, our principal Richard has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the Motor Trade and is a Fellow of the institute of the Motor Industry.
Being in a small village of St Albans called Sandridge we serve the local community with all their motoring needs.
All Vehicles are HPI checked, Serviced PDI and are available with Driver Plus extended Warranties.
HPI Check, always ask for this when buying any vehicle, HPI can reveal previous history, good or bad, we have found some main dealers will charge up to £65 for this service, we offer this free of charge including warranty.
As well as Car Sales we also offer Valuations, Servicing, body and paint repairs, valeting, collection & delivery.
If you would like to sell your car for cash with free valuations, we will always be pleased to pay higher than trade prices for the right vehicles.
Richards’s grandfather, Arthur Saunders, was one of the original Bentley Boys being there chief mechanic they have just published a book on him called Bentley Experimental No 5 (the story of the Bentley boys & their Bentley) author Clare Hay and we are still associated with motor racing.
From Richards racing days, he is hopefully looking to compete again in Retro Rallycross in a Fiat 131 Abarth which he raced successfully in European Rallycross 1976 /77 /78 he then went on to race Touring cars and single seater Multi Sport.
Maddie, Richard’s wife who is also a Director in Kinsbourne Cars and also a member of the Institute of Motor Industry, she has a passion for motor sport and driven several racing cars.
Colin Smart runs the workshop his technical knowledge is second to none.
**We Would Like to point out to potential customers be extremely careful when you see vehicles advertised often in very small print Cat C (which has now been replaced by Cat S) or Cat D ( which has now been replaced by Cat N ) we have found customer often think this is some sort of extra or low insurance group, these vehicles have actually been insurance write offs, they will of course look good value with very low prices, the best advice is walk away from them as many insurance companies will not insure these vehicles. Even if you’re not purchasing a vehicle from us and you are unsure we will be pleased to assist or offer advice as well as carrying out an HPI check.
We do not purchase Mobility vehicles due to poor quality, modifications and adaptions also cars from general auctions and would advise against you doing so as there can be many problems which often show up after the purchase, when buying always ask where the vehicles are sourced from as they may also have been a rental or hire vehicle** E & O.E
